Radon Mitigation Systems

Protecting Homes, Businesses & Communities from Radon

Our Work

Explore our past projects to see how Radon Reduction Systems, Inc. has successfully implemented radon mitigation solutions for a wide range of radon-related issues. From single-family homes to large complexes, we offer tailored, high-quality radon reduction systems that provide lasting peace of mind.

Our Services Include:

Radon Reduction Systems

Whether it’s a single-family home, townhome, or large complex, we design and install effective radon mitigation systems to protect you and your family.

Venting & Piping

We use precise venting and piping techniques to safely remove radon from your home and direct it outside, ensuring your air stays clean and safe.

Sump Pump Lids

Properly sealed sump pump lids are essential for preventing radon from entering your home through the foundation.

Strategic Placement of Radon Reduction Systems

Each home is unique, which is why we carefully assess and place radon mitigation systems to achieve optimal performance and safety.

Radon Mitigation in Crawlspaces

For homes with crawlspaces, we provide specialized mitigation solutions to ensure radon is effectively reduced in these often-overlooked areas.

Fan Placement

Proper fan placement is critical to ensure maximum efficiency in radon mitigation systems, and we ensure your system works flawlessly.

Exhaust Venting Above Roofline

We ensure that exhaust venting is properly placed above the roofline to safely disperse radon gas away from your home.

Venting and Piping

3 inch PVC is often used to vent radon outdoors, and can be used in a variety of configurations. Suction points draw radon out through crawlspaces, garages, drop ceilings, etc., using a coring bit to drill through basement slabs and create suction. Fan ON – OFF switch provided in the basement on every installation. Suction can be observed through a u-tube manometer, and come with a state mitigation tag and radon information packet.

Sump Pump Lids

Radon reduction systems often feature EPA approved sump pit lids, with a viewport, to reduce radon gas.Radon presents a hazard in two ways. As it decays, it gives off energy in the form of alpha particles. Alphas aren’t generally much of a threat unless they are inhaled. When a person breathes in radon gas, the energy from the decaying particles can damage DNA in the cells of the lungs.

Strategic Placement of Radon Reduction Systems

Radon reduction systems can be strategically placed to blend with home interiors and exteriors. All fans installed on exterior come with a protective fan housing and condensation bypass system. 5 year system guarantee!

Radon Reduction Systems

Installed a custom radon reduction system. Fans placed on the home’s exterior are covered with a protective fan housing. (Choose white or black) Radon flows through gutter and exits above the home’s highest eave. (Choose from a variety of gutter colors)

Radon Reduction in Complex

Installed a radon mitigation system in a large complex. Primary suction point next to a finished sump pump lid. A U-Tube Manometer showing uneven red dye indicates suction, meaning the system is turned ON.

Radon Mitigation in Crawlspace

To mitigate radon in a crawlspace, polyethelene sheeting is used to cover gravel as shown, often using a secondary suction point.

Fan Placement

To create suction and remove radon gas, an inline fan is placed in your radon reduction system. As shown in the pictures, these fans can be strategically placed under decks, inside attics, or outside the home using colors to complement the home’s exterior.

Exhaust Venting Above Roofline

Venting radon gas above the roofline of the home is mandatory, and can be accomplished using gutter piping that complements the color of the home. Proper flashing is done around rooftop exhaust pipes.
